Just in case you all thought I was just sitting around slacking off, I thought I would start putting out some juicy book snippets from my current works in progress. This one is from the “cozy mystery” that I am working on now called “Killer Cupcakes”.
This is before editing, so we’ll see if it actually makes it into the book intact…..
Lexy felt a jolt of shock, her head was swimming, her ankles starting to feel wobbly. She grabbed the side of the display case to steady herself, wishing that, just for once, she had the good sense to wear shoes with a smaller heel.
